According to the tipster, Apple is in the process of overhauling Siri, the iPhone’s equivalent to Google Assistant, incorporating its in-house Large Language Model. The revamped and more potent Siri is currently in development, with plans to unveil it at WWDC 2024, expected to take place in June next year. The leak also suggests that the iPhone 16 series will be the first to showcase the enhanced AI capabilities of Siri.
While Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman had initially reported that the improved Siri would be ready by 2025, this latest leak accelerates the timeline by a full year.
