OnePlus is preparing to launch a new smartphone in its Ace series, as tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared details about an upcoming OnePlus device. Reports suggest the phone may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. While the official name remains unconfirmed by the leaks, the device could debut as the OnePlus Ace 7. **Leaked Specifications of the OnePlus Ace 7**
According to leaks, the upcoming OnePlus phone may feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display. It is expected to offer 1.5K resolution and an ultra-high refresh rate of 185Hz. However, as this information stems from an engineering prototype, it is not yet certain whether the final retail version will retain these exact specifications.
The engineering prototype indicates the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor—a flagship chipset launched last year. Notably, previous models like the OnePlus Ace 6T and OnePlus Ace 6 featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 8 Elite processors, respectively. Consequently, reports suggest that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processors could power the OnePlus Ace 7T and OnePlus Ace 7, respectively.
Leaked information suggests the top-tier configuration of the OnePlus Ace 7 could include 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, though the company has not yet officially confirmed the RAM and storage variants. While details regarding the software remain scarce, the phone is expected to run on Android 17, likely featuring the company's ColorOS 17 interface.
No information regarding the phone's battery or charging capabilities has been revealed in the leaks. The OnePlus Ace 6, launched last year, featured a large 7,800mAh battery; consequently, the company's upcoming phone is expected to house a battery exceeding 8,000mAh.
