WB Summer Forecast March-May: The heat will make you cry! Fear of heat wave for longer than Rajasthan in several districts of Bengal

The heat will be under control in March. The heat will be unbearable in April and May.

The cold has made me shiver. And the heat will make me cry. This is the forecast of the Indian Meteorological Department. In the context of the monthly forecast on Saturday, the Meteorological Department has informed that most parts of the country will be affected by the heat from March to May. Even so, the situation will be somewhat better in March. That means that the heat will remain at the same level as it is expected to be. But the heat will burn and burn to ashes in April and May. Gangetic West Bengal is also on the list. There is a possibility of severe heat in the districts of South Bengal for longer than the average number of days that a heat wave usually lasts.

Which regions will be affected by the heat wave?
The Meteorological Department has informed that severe heat will be experienced in West Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, South Maharashtra, West Maharashtra, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, parts of North Karnataka and North Tamil Nadu.

However, the good news is that there will not be severe heat in most parts of the country in March. The weather will be as hot as it usually is. The Meteorological Department has informed that the temperature in parts of India, except North-East India, East India, parts of Western Himalayas, parts of Central India and parts of Coastal India, will be normal or below normal.

Heat wave will last longer in the western regions than in Rajasthan
But that 'happiness' will not be available in April and May. Those two months will be affected by the heat wave. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the number of heat wave days in West Bengal will be more in April and May. The situation in the western districts of the state may be especially deplorable. There is a risk of heat wave for more days in the western districts of West Bengal than in Rajasthan. The list includes districts like Purulia and Bankura.

How much rain will there be?
Mrityunjay Mohapatra, Director General of the Indian Meteorological Department, has said that the rainfall in March will be above normal. There will be normal or more than normal rainfall in most parts of the country. Only in Northeast India, parts of Northwest India, and parts of East-Central India, rainfall may be less than normal. And from 1971 to 2020, the average rainfall in March in the country is around 29.9 millimeters. However, the Meteorological Department has not yet announced anything about how much rain will be in April and May.
