SA vs BAN: Seizing the moment… After taking a wicket, the Bangladeshi bowler showcased his dancing skills, celebrating with Hrithik Roshan’s iconic dance move.

South Africa vs. Bangladesh: Shoriful Islam, the Bangladeshi fast bowler, claimed the wicket of South Africa’s Reeza Hendricks at a low cost. Shoriful showcased his dance moves at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium in celebration, performing Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan’s iconic dance step.

Mumbai: In the 2023 World Cup, South Africa is currently facing Bangladesh. South Africa, in good form, triumphed over the reigning world champions, England, in their previous match. Although they did face a setback against the Netherlands in the tournament, they won their other three matches convincingly. Opting to bat first on an ideal Mumbai pitch for batting, South Africa’s acting captain, Aiden Markram, made the decision. However, two key batsmen, Reeza Hendricks and Rassie Van der Dussen, were dismissed cheaply.

Shoriful Bowls Out Reeza Hendricks
Reeza Hendricks, filling in for captain Temba Bavuma, had delivered an impressive fifty in the last match, but he couldn’t replicate his performance against Bangladesh. In the 7th over of the innings, fast bowler Shoriful Islam bowled him out. Shoriful’s left-arm delivery swung in after pitching, managing to find the gap between Hendricks’ bat and pad, sending him back to the pavilion. Hendricks could only muster 12 runs from 19 balls, featuring a solitary four.

Hrithik Roshan’s Dance Move Celebration
Shoriful Islam celebrated in a unique fashion following the wicket. He recreated the famous dance step from Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan’s iconic performance in the song ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’ from his 2000 movie ‘Kaho Na… Pyaar Hai.’ This dance step remains a favorite among the youth even today.

Bangladesh is in danger of being eliminated
Bangladesh’s World Cup 2023 campaign is on the brink of elimination. The team commenced the tournament with a victory over Afghanistan, but subsequent losses to England, New Zealand, and India have put their semi-final aspirations in serious doubt. If they face another defeat in this match, they will be the first team to lose four matches in this World Cup, virtually extinguishing their hopes of reaching the semi-finals
